A new study Bible is coming out in October: The ESV (English Standard Version) Study Bible. While probably not as ‘reformed’ as the Reformed Study Bible it boasts an impressive 2700+ pages. I’m excited to have Dr Ryken’s notes for the literary qualities of scripture. In addition, I am pleased with the ESV text, having purchased my first when it came out in 2001. The text is well-suited for reading aloud, flowing much smoother than my prefered version at the time the NASB, yet is a word for word translation.
A few days late in announcing perhaps, but we closed on a house. Find some pictures here. More to be posted at the Halls of Tucson Blog as work progresses.
